Tamsyn Kelly

Tamsyn Kelly is a comedian, writer and actor from Penzance in Cornwall, who now lives in Glasgow (don't ask). In 2022 she won the Edinburgh Comedy Panel Prize with Best in Class and has since appeared on ITV2, BBC One, BBC Three and Comedy Central.

She has written for herself on The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and BBC Radio 4's Wosson Cornwall, in which she starred with Dawn French, and where her writing was praised in The Guardian and Time Out. Tamsyn currently has several scripted projects in development across various channels.

As an actor, she has appeared in various commercials, and on networks such as BBC Four, and HBO in America. Most recently she took the lead role in the film Whistle, directed by Ainsley Cannon, which is currently playing at international film festivals.

She received critical acclaim for her first stand up tour Tamsyn Kelly: Crying in TK Maxx 'A sparkling party of a show' iNews, which toured the country last year. She's currently working on her follow up hour 'Hot Titty Bungalow' which she's excited to be performing at Monkey Barrel Comedy for the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Tamsyn's been performing at Monkey Barrel as an act and a host since 2023, including as tour support for Kiri Pritchard Mclean, and is delighted to be doing her first full fringe run there this year.
