Elaine Malcolmson
Elaine Malcolmson is an award winning comedian, writer and actor who has written for and appeared on various TV and Radio shows. She has performed comedy all over the place including Reykjavik Fringe, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Her most recent show, Joik, was reviewed as “subtly poignant…quietly beautiful…killer gags” The List
A regular panellist and writer on BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News, she has also been known to act having had recurring roles in three BBC sitcoms.
As a ghost writer she has contributed to shows including: Have I Got News For You; The News Quiz; The Last Leg; and, Question Time. As well as writing and script editing an award winning stand up show and writing one of The Independent’s best jokes of the Fringe.
Elaine also enjoys directing with one project winning awards at Fringe festivals in Stockholm, Finland and Reykjavik.
