Smashing onto the scene in 2021, Dean blends sharp storytelling with a cheeky charm, drawing from his experiences growing up in foster care, living in Dubai, and embracing his full nerdy potential.
Dean T. Beirne is what happens when a geek, a foster kid, and a misfit walk into a comedy club, except he’s all three.
He was the Scottish finalist in the 2023 BBC New Comedy Awards, and appeared on Rosie Jones’ Disability Comedy Extravaganza on Dave in 2024.
When he’s not popping up on screens, he’s a regular at the Big Show at Monkey Barrel Comedy, where his unique mix of heart, humour, and self-deprecating wit keeps audiences coming back for more.
With a style that’s equal parts relatable and ridiculous, Dean is quickly establishing himself as one of Scotland’s most exciting new comics.
