EIIF 2026 Workshops Now On Sale

We're delighted to be welcoming Edinburgh International Improv Festival (EIIF) to Monkey Barrel Comedy in 2026. Their programme includes workshops, live shows, and jams - and features some of the world's best improv performers, teams, and teachers. So whether you're an experienced improviser looking to hone your craft, a newbie looking for some stage time, or you just want to watch outstanding international teams create comedy from scratch - there's something for you.

To kick things off, EIIF have released their full programme of improv workshops - which are on sale now. These highly popular events give attendees valuable opportunities to develop their performance skills with exceptional coaches like Chris Gethard, Trumane Alston, and Jiavani.

Each workshop is designed to help attendees work on specific aspects of improv - like simplifying game or playing monoscenes - and there are options for beginners, intermediate, and advanced performers.
